First Visit

 

Your child's first visit is all about their comfort, happiness, and health. 

For infants, toddlers, and young children we start our happy visit by answering all your questions and explaining helpful dental care for their teeth while they sit on your lap. Once they are comfortable, we will examine their gums and teeth, as well as their jaw. For ages two and above, if they are ready, one of our highly trained dental hygienists will provide a professional dental cleaning for their shinest smile! Your child will love their goody bag with a new toothbrush and will enjoy choosing a prize on the way out! 

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile! 

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit the dentist by age one to establish their dental home, then every six months for their checkups and professional teeth cleanings to keep their teeth and gums healthy.

We understand that your family has a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing for a dental visit, please remember that an appointment can last about 30-45 minutes. If you have more than one child, we have sibling rooms and try to treat them at the same time!
